The various types of wine produced in this area reflect the typical Parmesan and Italian wine tradition.
In fact, beside the traditional white and red I.G.T. sparkling Parmesan wines produced with Malvasia, Barbera and Bonarda grapes, we also find firm wines of extraordinary quality and character which, through ageing in oak barrels, merge the peculiar taste that finds origins in a chalky and pebbly land with delicate but clearly perceivable unique flavor of the greatest red wines produced with Merlot, Cabernet and Barbera grapes.
